Political button designer Sharon Young has it on a new product: political buttons for pets. Slogans include “Bark Obama for President” and “McCain for Top Dog.” While both the site and the article about it in the Houston Chronicle seem to focus on dogs, the lone comment to the article is about a cat. I’m going to cut and paste it here in full because it’s just so perfect.
“My cat loves where she lives and she loves that she gets pampered, no way in hell she woudl wear an obama button, that woudl mean less for her and mroe for the government.”
Because that is Barack Obama’s main plan of attack once he gets into office: depriving cats of pampering.
maybe her cat would wear an obama button after watching the good morning american interview with sarah palin’s friends, where they reveal she hates cats…
